The Recruitment Process

The steps below describe the ‘typical’ recruitment process but we don’t just offer a ‘typical’ service to our customers, we offer an individual service. We’ll work with you to find out exactly what you want, and then we’ll respond. This page simply provides a general guide as to what the process would normally be.

1. We work with you to discuss your requirements and take down a comprehensive job specification.

2. For temporary roles, and depending on the timescale of your requirement, we will normally be able to recommend a candidate who is both fully referenced and immediately available.

3. For permanent positions (or on temporary positions you would prefer to interview for), we will normally know of candidates straight away who fit the bill. We will also conduct a database search to source further suitable candidates.

4. In addition, we will advertise the position confidentially on our website, on a number of specialist websites we use and also in the local press or industry-specific publications. This brings in a new pool of interested candidates, who have responded specifically to your position.

5. Selecting against the criteria of the job specification, we will screen and hand pick a short list of the most suitable candidates and send these to you.

6. Once you have viewed the short list of CV's we send, we will discuss your feedback with you. If for any reason you feel the CV's aren't quite right, or your requirements change slightly, we will refine our criteria and search again for you.

7. When you're happy with the CV's provided, we will arrange interviews for you.

8. Post interview, we will take the candidates' feedback and discuss this with you.

9. If for any reason you don’t think you’ve found the right person from the interviews, we can review this with you and provide alternative CV’s.

10. When you’re happy that you’ve found the ideal person for the job, we will handle the offer management process with the candidate and tie up any loose ends prior to their engagement with you.

At every stage of the process we will consult with you to take your feedback and agree the next course of action.
